In November of 2023 my wife and I worked with agent Ryan Haedt, from Eckburg Insurance Group, to secure new home & auto policies through West Bend. We were extremely pleased with working with Ryan to achieve lower rates than what we had been experiencing. So far we have not had to file any claims, and our rates have remained low.
My review takes a little side story here. Due to Ryan's diligence, I had my mother's home & auto insurance switched to West Bend as well. My mother had been VERY discouraged by her previous insurer, who my mom & dad had used for almost 70 years. They had experienced numerous storms since they built their house in 2004, yet their insurer (known for clever ads and agents in khakis) refused to fully cover any of the damages incurred, even though many of her neighbors received new roofs. Being very upset by this fact, I helped my mom switch to West Bend in June of 2024. She experienced several more storms with hail and heavy winds after this time. After the last storm in March of 2025 I contacted West Bend to take a look at her roof. The adjuster came and immediately said "Yes", there is considerable damage to the roof, gutters and window screens. Long story made a little shorter, my mom received a new roof and was absolutely esctatic with how West Bend treated her. Needless to say, both my mom and my wife and I are extremely happy that we switched to West Bend through Ryan Haedt from the Eckburg Insurance Group. We highly recommend them!
